But I know that it was harder for some people...people who hadn't seen her in a while. Leslie had changed in appearance rather dramatically in the last two years of her life. My 2...Did you have the opportunity to see her body? My 22 year old nephew died in December of 2009 (only 3 weeks after my mother-in-law lost her life to cancer). We were so wrapped up in taking care of things for my mother-in-law that we didn't participate in any of the memorial services or burial for my nephew. I last saw him at Halloween that year and then he was just... gone. It's a very weird sensation.
